Send money to your Mage wallet, and know when it lands.
You fund Mage by sending crypto to your own address. The money stays in your wallet. Mage signs a trade only after you approve it.
Your two addresses
You have two addresses, not four:
- One Solana address, for Solana.
- One Ethereum address. The same Ethereum address is your wallet on Robinhood Chain, Base, and Ethereum.
Ask Mage for either one:
Mage replies with the address and nothing else. To see what you hold, ask for your balances instead. See Wallet and balances.
Which asset, which network
The network you pick in the sending app decides where the money lands. Send one of these:

USDC on Base is the recommended first deposit. You can bridge it to another chain later. See Bridge.
The network must match the asset. Your Ethereum address is the same on Base, Robinhood Chain, and Ethereum, so the network you pick in the sending app is the only thing that decides where the funds arrive. Check it before you send.
Ways to send money in
From an exchange or another wallet. Copy your Mage address for the network you chose. Paste it as the withdrawal address in the sending app. Send.
From the funding page. ma.ge/fund shows your addresses with a QR code for each network. Log in first.
From the Robinhood app. The funding page names the one correct network for USDC, ETH, and SOL, and shows the address to paste. Robinhood needs Level 3 verification and an authenticator app before it sends crypto. Robinhood also holds a first-time address for 24 hours before the transfer goes out. Both steps happen once.
With a card. The funding page buys USDC on Base with a debit card or Apple Pay. The presets are $25, $50, and $100. The payment provider charges a fee, and the first purchase includes an ID check. Send crypto you already hold if you want to avoid that fee.
From a bank. A bank transfer is not available yet.
When money lands

A smaller amount still arrives. It does not send a text.
The table is the list Mage watches. A token that is not in the table can arrive in your wallet without a text. This includes a token that someone airdrops to you. Text "balances" to see everything you hold.
USDC on Ethereum
Sending USDC on Ethereum instead of Base is a common mistake. Mage still texts you, so you know the money is not lost. The USDC sits at your Ethereum address on Ethereum.
Mage does not trade or bridge on Ethereum. You can send the funds out from there to another address, for example your exchange deposit address. See Send.
What counts as funded
Mage blocks buys while your wallet is empty. Any one of these balances counts as funded:
- 0.001 SOL on Solana
- 0.00005 ETH on Robinhood Chain
- 0.00005 ETH on Base
You do not have to fund a specific chain. A bridge into one of these chains also counts.
Mage re-checks your balance at most once a minute. After a deposit lands, wait about 1 minute for trading to unlock.
Before you fund
With an empty wallet, Mage still scans tokens, shows trending tokens, reads your balances, bridges funds in, and trades perps. Only buys are blocked:

Perps are funded separately
Your perps account holds its own collateral. A balance in your wallet is not perps collateral, and an empty wallet does not block perps. See Perps.
