Stock and ETF tokens on Robinhood Chain, bought by text.
A stock token tracks the price of a stock or an ETF. It lives on Robinhood Chain, and it trades like any other token there. You text the ticker, you read the card, you reply "yes".
A stock token is not a share. Corporate actions apply a multiplier on chain, so your token count is not a split-adjusted share count. The price is quoted for one token.
Stock tokens are Reg S instruments. They are not offered to US persons.
Buy a stock token
You give the ticker and the dollars. Mage quotes the token, sends the card, and waits.
A buy spends USDG and is priced in dollars. A sell is a percent, from 1 to 100. Both need a little ETH on Robinhood Chain for gas. The receipt carries a link to the Robinhood Chain explorer.
Not every ticker fills, and stock-token trading can be paused for everyone. Read "What to know" below before you plan around a ticker.
Around the clock
Stock tokens trade 24/7. The reference price feed updates 24/5. Mage flags a stale reading, for example "(feed last updated 62h ago — markets closed)".
Prices come from market makers, not from a pool. The stock exchange closes; the market makers keep quoting. When they stop, "No market-maker quotes right now" is a real and temporary answer.
Mage blocks a trade when the on-chain price sits too far from the official feed. A stale weekend feed is a common cause.
What to know
Availability sits with the venue. Not every ticker fills. A ticker can return a price and still refuse the trade, and Mage names the venue as the limit — not you, and not your account.
The registry holds 24 tickers, among them NVDA, TSLA, SPY, QQQ, and SPCX. Say the ticker. A ticker outside the registry is refused before anything is signed.
Stock-token trading can also be paused for everyone.
